| Hello, darlings! Well, once again the realm of myspace has taken the lead over my blog time on the internet...but I thought I'd jump on here while I had a bit of time and just see what I'd missed. Spring Break is almost over for me, which is sad, but there are only 7 weeks of school left...whoo hoo!! I've been extremely busy directing and stage managing a passion play, teaching and directing at school, and taking an online course that I have to have to keep up my certification. I spend the first day of my spring break in front of the computer for 16 hours working on that thing! Argh! But I'm finally done and can enjoy the last couple of days of my break. I'm looking forward to PotC3, among other cool movies coming out in May and this summer. I'm trying to get my living room painted, and my little one turns 4 in just a few weeks...so still a lot going on! As a matter of fact, I hear him calling me now, so I must be off.... Bye! | | |
| HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! I wanted to make sure that I put an entry in on this first day of 2007. Wow, I can't believe that...what a fast and crazy year 2006 has been! I'm enjoying some time off from school during the Winter Break, but will be ready to continue rehearsals for Once Upon a Mattress when I return. My birthday was last night...yep, I'm a New Year's Eve baby...and I had a nice time with my family, eating at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Doug came home from his job in Tennessee to be with me...he's so sweet. and I love him to death! I had a great time with my best friends in the whole world (Amanda, Kristie, Patti, and Gretchen) at...of all places...the tattoo parlour...on Friday evening. *laughs* It was Amanda's first tattoo...a beautiful Celtic triskel on her lower back...and I was so proud of her. Patti got her ear pierced (she's going back for her next tattoo in February) and Kristie and I got the backs of our necks tattooed. Kristie's is a lovely triquetra symbol in turquoise, and I got a triskel with beautiful swirls around it in black and purple. This is my third tattoo...and probably my last. We had a blast cutting up with the two tattoo artists, who know us all quite well by now! I am looking forward to a nice week, spending my Christmas money, and hanging out with my awesome son and my friends before the craziness of school begins. God Bless! | | |
| MERRY CHRISTMAS!! THE HOLIDAYS ARE NEARLY UPON US. I HAVE ONE MORE WEEK OF SCHOOL, AND THE KIDS ARE ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! I AM COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS. MUCH SHOPPING TO TAKE CARE OF AND ALL THAT, BUT I WILL BE SO GLAD TO HAVE A BREAK TO SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY THE SEASON. I MISS SO MANY OF YOU THAT I USED TO TALK TO HERE IN XANGA. YES, MYSPACE HAS TAKEN OVER THE WORLD AND I'VE FOLLOWDED. IF YOU ARE STILL AROUND XANGA-WORLD, DROP ME A COMMENT, I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN!

| Hey Xanga World! Well, to say I've been busy is an understatement...but I have great news! The one-act play I've been directing... "HOW TO EAT LIKE A CHILD"....we took the show to our Region One-Act Play Competition on Saturday....and we won!!! We are going to Columbus this Saturday to compete in our State Competition. Yes, I've been very excited. I feel like we finally got recognized for the hard work we do in our theatre program, and it felt great. I am busy preparing for State this week...and then next week I hold auditions for our Winter Musical, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. Nope, no break for me...but I'm looking forward to the musical. It's one of my favorites. More later! | | |
| Hey everyone!! Well, things are crazy around here with the Whitney. I have the fall production at school in four weeks...a little stressed about that one! It's How to Eat Like a Child, a cute musical with a cast of 31. Then, I'm in a murder mystery dinner theatre at our church this weekend. I'm the girl that gets murdered! Too fun! I am happy that autumn is slowly arriving...and I can't wait for the leaves to change... I got the tattoo I have on my ankle redone this week. I've had the tat for about 8 years, but I wasn't really happy with it. My buddy Patti went with me, and we had a blast with Chris, the guy who did the tat. He did a great job and now...I love it! Very cool. It's still a butterfly, but it's bigger, brighter, and has a flower with it now. I guess that's about it for now. More later! | | |
